Background

About Me

My career has been focused on the energy industry since graduating from UBC in 2022. My first role was at Hydrostor, where I worked to commercialize a nascent long-duration energy storage technology—compressed air energy storage. This experience gave me a close-up view of the FOAK (first-of-a-kind) challenge that defines so much of clean technology commercialization.

From there, I moved to Boralex where I focused on M&A and greenfield development across utility-scale hydro, solar, wind, and BESS assets. I'm currently at Peak Power, deploying distributed energy resources for commercial and industrial customers.

Outside of work, I'm an IRONMAN triathlete, vegan cook, boulderer, and avid reader. Most of what I write about falls at the intersection of those worlds—energy systems, the business of decarbonization, and the books that shape how I think about both.
